Sotbat, founded by Suyeun Bae, embodies years of culinary tradition and expertise.
After years of cooking seasonal dishes with various traditional pots, Bae created her own unique Korean Sot (pot), which reflects her deep understanding and passion for Korean cooking.
Crafted with Sancheong Goryeongto (산청 고령토), a clay known for its durability and heat retention, the Sot is inspired by traditional Korean Onggi. Its wave-like Suhwa-mun (수화문) pattern symbolizes abundance and regeneration. Adding a playful touch, this design also carries a wish: ‘맛있어져라,’ or ‘Get delicious!’—a fun charm for every dish.
Perfect for cooking rice, stews, soups, steaming, and even baking bread, the Sot blends timeless design with modern functionality, making it an essential tool for hearty, home-cooked meals.
