Buncheong in reduction
Handmade by ceramicist Moomooyo who specializes in Korean buncheong teaware using locally foraged black clay. The spotted red pattern results from the firing process and is named momiji after the red Japanese maple.
The ido chawan was also developed in Joseon-era Korea and quickly became one of the most-prized matcha bowl shapes for its wabi-sabi aesthetic.
