Buncheong in oxidation

Handmade by ceramicist Moomooyo who specializes in Korean buncheong teaware using locally foraged black clay. Each piece is dipped in white buncheong slip instead of a typical glaze, resulting in unique translucent layers and crazing.

The ido chawan was also developed in Joseon-era Korea and quickly became one of the most-prized matcha bowl shapes for its wabi-sabi aesthetic.
