Created exclusively for Studio Kō, this vase reimagines the beloved silhouette of the Korean moon jar through a more elongated form. Retaining the quiet fullness of the moon jar while drawing on the graceful proportions of the traditional maebyeong, the vessel unfolds in a gentle curve that feels both generous and elegantly restrained.

Finished through the artist’s signature process of layering multiple glazes, each piece develops its own unrepeatable depth of color, texture, and pattern. While sculptural in presence, its gently narrowed opening also lends itself beautifully to floral arrangements, offering a subtle dialogue between function and form.
