Made using glassblowing techniques, this flute glass encloses a thin layer of celadon-colored glass within clear glass, creating a subtle and refined beauty. Its moderate thickness provides a sense of stability when glasses are clinked together, while its balanced weight helps keep the glass steady when filled with a drink. Two silver balls embedded within the glass serve as distinctive accents, adding a unique visual detail.
Try serving cold-brewed Darjeeling tea, often referred to as the “Champagne of teas,” in the flute glass for a special way to enjoy it. The narrow opening helps concentrate the aroma of the tea, allowing its refreshing fragrance to be enjoyed with each sip.
Beyond Darjeeling, the glass pairs well with chilled drinks such as sparkling beverages, wine, iced tea, and Champagne. It can also be used for special occasions, celebrations, or parties to create a festive and elegant atmosphere.
Please note that each glass is shaped intuitively by the artist, making every piece unique. While the overall dimensions are similar, the shape of the piece you receive may vary from the one shown in the photographs.
Care & Notes
• Hand-blown glass is made by gathering molten glass, heated to approximately 1,200°C (2,192°F), onto a blowpipe and shaping it by blowing air into it. Because each piece is individually handmade, slight variations in shape, size, and height may occur.
• Subtle surface irregularities, fine scratches, black specks, small air bubbles, and other minor imperfections may naturally occur during the making process. These are not considered defects and are not eligible for exchange or return.
• Hand-blown glass is not heat-resistant glass. Sudden changes in temperature caused by hot liquids may result in breakage. Please avoid liquids or foods above 80°C (176°F), and do not use in the oven, microwave, or dishwasher. We recommend using the glassware for beverages below 80°C (176°F) or for cold drinks.
• When cleaning, use a soft sponge with a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive scrubbers, as they may scratch the surface of the glass.
Silver Ball Series
• The silver elements are made by melting 925 sterling silver. Slight variations in the size and shape of the silver balls may occur.
• The thin, transparent coating on the surface of each silver ball is carefully applied to help prevent the natural tarnishing of silver and improve adhesion. To preserve the clarity of the glass and the shine of the silver balls, avoid abrasive scrubbers and clean gently with a soft sponge.
